Biography

Marc Ringel holds the European Chair for Sustainable Development and Climate Transition at Sciences Po. As trained economist (habilitation with technical university of Darmstadt), his research focusses European energy and climate policies, notably the impacts of the European Green Deal and a comparative assessment of the « Fit for 55 » legislative package. He supports the works of – among others – the European Commission and the German ministry of economics as expert. The German and the Dutch parliament have solicited him as expert for parliamentary hearings, owing to his prior work experience with the European Commission and the German ministry of economic affairs. Marc is affiliated to the « Environmental Policies » research group of LIEPP since 2022.
