Anne-Laure Beaussier is a CNRS researcher in political sciences at the Center for Sociology of Organizations at Sciences Po. Interested in international comparison and policy analysis, her research focuses on risk regulation in Europe and health policies in the United States and Europe. She recently participated in several research projects funded by the ESRC and the ANR on health insurance reforms in the United States, access to care in Europe, the regulation of medical quality, and the governance of risks in Europe. She now works on the social risks linked to climate change and on protection policies against these risks in Europe, using an approach that combines comparative analysis of welfare states and the sociology of risks and their regulation. In 2016, she published Health in the United States. A political history, Presses de Sciences Po.
