Project description
The project implements a participatory action research initiative and organizes a one-dat conference to explore the possibilities and limitations for social work educators (early childhood educators and specialized educators) in promoting non-sexist education within their professional practice. The participatory action research aims to understand the needs and barriers faced by social work professionals in implementing educational tools that promote gender equality and take into account gender and sexual minorities. It relies on the participation of trainers and students from a social work school—who are also education professionals—in order to draw on their professional and experiential knowledge. The project aims to organize a one-day conference to present the results of the action research, in dialogue with other research focused on preventing gender and sexuality-based inequalities and discrimination in social work.
This project is related to the LIEPP's research groups Educational policies and Discriminations and category-based policies.
