Project description
In recent years, the higher education and research sector has mobilized to combat gender-based and sexual violence (GBSV). The 2021–2025 National Action Plan has strengthened training, reporting mechanisms, and awareness initiatives. Despite these efforts, GBSV remains a persistent issue within higher education and research. The INTER-VSS project aims to map and analyze prevention interventions implemented across France. Drawing on the framework for evaluating complex health interventions, it seeks to identify underlying strategies, contextual factors, available resources, and resulting impacts. Using a mixed-methods approach (questionnaires and interviews), INTER-VSS values the experience of field actors to generate transferable knowledge, improve existing practices, and lay the groundwork for a future public health program to prevent GBSV in higher education.
This project is related to the LIEPP's research groups Discriminations and category-based policies and Health policies.
