Biography
Elisa Mougin defended her thesis at the Department of Economics of Sciences Po, under the supervision of Julia Cagé in 2021. She is a graduate of Sciences Po''s master''s degree in "Economics and Public Policy". She specialises in media and information economics and her research focuses on the transformation of media landscapes and the functioning of news markets. She studies, for example, the challenges of digitalisation and technical progress, the dynamics of competition in the media sector, in order to measure their impacts on individual preferences, political beliefs, and electoral processes.
