Biography

Célia Bouchet is a CNRS researcher in sociology at the Laboratoire interdisciplinaire pour la sociologie économique (Lise, UMR 3320 CNRS/Cnam) and a member of the PRESPOL project.

Célia’s research focuses on the sociology of inequality, the epistemology of subjectivity, and public policy analysis, with a strong commitment to mixed methods (combining quantitative and qualitative approaches) and interdisciplinary dialogue. After completing a PhD on how disability shapes the social positions of adults who grew up with long-term limitations in France, Célia now investigates experiences of inequality and unequal treatment from various perspectives, including disability, gender, and ethnoracial inequalities.
