Biography

Thomas Bobo is a research assistant with the project Energy justice, public action and collective mobilisation: a European comparison (JUSTENERGY) hosted by the LIEPP and the Interdisciplinary Energy Research Institute (LIED – University Paris-Cité). He supports the project team’s research into public and collective action around energy justice in Europe (France, Spain, UK), particularly regarding qualitative data collection and fieldwork. As a doctoral student at the University of Birmingham (UK)’s Department of Political Science and International Studies, his research examines the construction and projection of discourses over the environment, territory, and nature in contexts of internal violent conflicts.
