Biography
Julien Blasco is an INSEE administrator and a PhD in Economics at CY Cergy Paris Université. His work focuses on monetary inequality, poverty and material deprivation in France and abroad. He also evaluates the impact of socio-fiscal policies and redistribution on these subjects. He was an intern at LIEPP during the summer of 2017, then joined LIEPP as a Junior Policy Fellow in July 2018. His current projects relate to the impact of consumption taxes on inequality around the world and to the dynamics of income inequality in France.
