How the institute for Skills and Innovation serves the Sciences Po Community

The Institute for Skills and Innovation is a support system for campus transformation. In particular, it is in charge of maintaining the means of projection, reception, and broadcast for the entire campus, including the new location at 1 Place St Thomas.

The Institute’s mission includes producing digital, audiovisual, and cartographic resources necessary for higher and continuing education, such as MOOCs/SPOCs and Open Educational Resources. It also develops service and software (mobile apps, student services, Khartis, etc.) for both the student and teacher communities.

It also provides high-quality user support for diffusing and recording events and online or onsite classes (audiovisual, videoconference, group interactivity, etc.). In the aim of creating a digital campus that can be used by all programs, the Institute offers and operates a coherent digital ecosystem constructed around its pedagogical platform and associated services (Moodle, online exams, private social networks, etc.).
