Faculty and Researchers

Sociology at Sciences Po is taught by four kinds of teachers:

• The permanent members of the Department: academics or researchers at CNRS or FNSP, they are all principally attached to one of Sciences Po’s numerous research centres. 
   
• External educators, most of whom are academics or researchers, but are attached to a research centre or other institution not affiliated with Sciences Po. 
   
• Doctoral and postdoctoral students working as tutors or employed on a doctoral contract or temporary teaching and research fellowship (ATER)
   
• Visiting professors
