Thomas Zicman De Barros
Thomás Zicman de Barros holds a BA in Economics from the University of São Paulo and a Master’s degree in Political Theory from Sciences Po. He is currently a PhD candidate in Political Theory at the CEVIPOF – Sciences Po. His research focuses on interdisciplinary connections between Political Theory and Psychoanalysis, studying pre-populist protest movements and the role of affects in the construction of collective identities.
Thesis working title: The Real (in) Democracy: Indignation and Contingency in the Square.
