VISITING RESEARCHERS

Invited academics are regularly welcomed to the laboratory as part of Sciences Po's academic and international exchanges, to conduct research stays at the CEVIPOF.

PROCEDURE FOR REQUESTING AN INVITATION TO THE CEVIPOF

Requests for invitations are examined by the CEVIPOF’s Unit Council, after a formal request has been sent. 

This ensures that the guest's project is consistent with the Centre's research areas. 

Calls for proposals are examined by the various unit councils, which meet once a month.

Applications should be sent to gessica.jean@sciencespo.fr with a copy to the contact person at the CEVIPOF and to florent.parmentier@sciencespo.fr. A reply will be sent within 2 weeks of the unit council meeting. 

The application must include the following documents in a single file (Word or PDF):

• A completed application form
• a CV
• A Motivation
• A Confirmation of support from a member of the CEVIPOF.

Incomplete applications will not be considered. 

Guests are provided with an access card to the campus and library, a sciencespo.fr email address, a workspace and are invited to all the Centre's events.

As far as possible, depending on the length of their stay or the nature of their invitation (contract, grant, etc.), guests make an active contribution to the laboratory's activities. Some of them present their work in one of the CEVIPOF seminars and/or give lectures and/or take part in our events as discussants in order to contribute their expertise.
