Photo de Carlotta FiorettiCarlotta Fioretti is Postdoctoral Fellow and Adjunct Professor at Roma Tre University where she is working on the project: Re.Cri.Re “Between the representations of the crisis and the crisis of representation” funded by European Union under Horizon 2020. She holds a master’s degree in Urban Regeneration (Heriot- Watt University) and a PhD in Urban Policy (Roma Tre University). From 2007 onwards, she has conducted research and acted as a consultant for different public and private institutes, such as Architecture and Design Scotland and Censis Foundation. Since 2009 she has been teaching at Cornell University, Cornell in Rome program, where she is actually Visiting Critic for the European Cities course

Research Interests

My work focuses on urban policy and planning, with a strong emphasis on critical urban studies and social justice, a perspective that enables me to examine wider social issues through spatial models.
My research interests include neighbourhoods’ regeneration, social inclusion, migration and the city.
