Bokyong Shin

Bokyong Shin is a PhD student studying urban policy at the university of Helsinki, Finland. He has several years of working experience of conducting multiple collaboration projects with diverse types of public and private organizations in art sector as a manager and a researcher, then became interested with public management in policy network. He attained the degree of Master of Public policy at Seoul National University with thesis ‘A Comparative Study on the Autonomy of Arts support agency’. After moving to Finland, he has continued to study policy network in comparative perspective focusing on urban governance theory. His current working title is ‘Managing public engagement in collaborative governance : A comparative study of World Design Capital in Seoul and Helsinki’.
