Biography

Arno Lizet is a PhD student at the CEE, affiliated to LIEPP, since September 2022 after having obtained a master's degree in political science at Sciences Po. His thesis, under a CIFRE agreement with the 1 000 cafés association and under the supervision of Laurie Boussaguet and Florence Faucher, analyses the reception of proximity devices, such as the 1 000 cafés, in rural areas. The aim of this research is to understand the political effects of localized social innovations stemming from the Social Solidarity Economy.

To do so, he uses qualitative methods (comparative ethnography, interviews, documentary analysis) and quantitative methods (text-as-data on press corpus and documentary resources).
