The Sciences Po Studio is a unique initiative at Sciences Po. Co-founded by the School of Management and Impact and the Center for Entrepreneurship, this innovation lab dedicated to collective action brings together students, partners – public, private, and non-profit – and civil society actors to imagine, design, and experiment the innovative solutions to the major social, environmental, and technological challenges of our time.
Reason for being
Today, the stakes are immense: environmental transition, the transformation of economic models, and technological evolution. We need a new approach that is commensurate with the transformations we must undertake.
Our conviction is clear: students are at the heart of the transformations to come and are driving the emergence of innovative, comprehensive, ecosystem-based, and transdisciplinary solutions.
At The Sciences Po Studio, we train, equip, and support the future leaders of change to design and implement bold and sustainable solutions.
An innovative pedagogical approach: combining entrepreneurship and experimentation
The Sciences Po Studio offers a teaching method that combines the development of entrepreneurial skills with experimentation. We firmly believe that this combination is the most effective for training students to play an active role in the necessary transformations for society and the world.
Three foundational actions: Reflection + Training + Action
Reflection
Opening perspectives and exploring the realm of possibilities is a fundamental action to bring the Studio's promise to life. A program of meetings, conferences, Lunch&Learn sessions, and workshops is developed; speakers from the professional, entrepreneurial, and academic worlds share innovative practices, initiatives, and models.
Training
In the face of a rapidly changing world, the body of knowledge imparted to students must inevitably evolve to foster entrepreneurial minds capable of transforming society in a sustainable and responsible manner. The core curriculum includes courses on these four pillars: Social Sciences, Management Fundamentals, Impact and Major Challenges, and Data, Digital, and AI. The Studio offers courses on the latter two pillars.
Action
The Sciences Po Studio fosters a genuine culture of innovation through its learning by doing methodology. Entrapreneurial projects (Impact Project, Tech Project), entrepreneurial initiatives (Impact Entrepreneurship Track), and applied research projects (Research in Action) highlight the Studio’s unique character and the ambition that drives it. Beyond the professional opportunities it creates, the Studio enables students to discover their potential, develop highly relevant cross-functional skills, and strengthen their ability to take action.

The School of Management and Impact and the Center for Entrepreneurship have combined their theoretical and practical expertise to design a unique educational framework that blends academic knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
