Pre-College Programme Overview

Sciences Po opens its doors to secondary school students from around the world as part of the Summer School’s Pre-College Programme. This programme is an opportunity to discover Sciences Po and experience college life and academics at one of France’s leading universities.

Eligibility

The Pre-College Programme is open to students currently enrolled in secondary school and who will be at least 15 years old at the time of the programme.  Learn more.

Academic Programme

In 2017, the Pre-College Programme offered challenging coursework combining the study of social sciences and foreign language, designed to give students a taste of academics at Sciences Po. Coursework included social sciences lectures and master classes, taught in English, foreign language study in French or university methodology workshops. In addition to weekday classes, study trips to Paris were organised on the weekends.  Learn more.

Location

In 2017, the Pre-College Programme took place on Sciences Po’s Reims campus. Accommodation was provided in a student residence hall near campus.  Learn more.
