The Paris School of International Affairs, in collaboration with the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and IE University’s School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs is delighted to announce an upcoming webinar series: Scholars in dialogue: six conversations on the modern Middle East

Borne out of a shared need for in-depth information on Middle East politics, the war between Israel and Hamas, and the broader history of the region, the series will feature internationally renowned and highly informed academics and experts across multiple disciplines and perspectives. Moderated by a diverse roster of experienced journalists, each conversation will reflect multiple positions with sensitivity and understanding.

The first webinar Gaza, the key to war and peace in the Middle East, featuring Sciences Po's Jean-Pierre Filiu, will inagurate the series on Wednesday 17 April.  It will offer an overview of the history of Gaza, a region distinct from the West Bank and Egypt, and how it evolved to present day.
