Chemsa Tortchinski awarded a Special Mention by the French Senate’s 2012 Thesis Prize

Chemsa Tortchinski (née Rachidi) completed her thesis in May 2011 (with a “Very Honourable mention with the jury’s congratulations”) on the subject: “Governors face their regions. The politics of decentralisation and its role in the regulation of centre-periphery relations in post-Communist Russia (1990-2010): a study of the Samara and Voronej regions” supervised by Dominique Colas, professor at Sciences Po.
