Delivering fundamental, multidisciplinary education

Share/Bookmark Share

From the start, the goal at Sciences Po has been to deliver fundamental education and to transmit knowledge to tomorrow’s leaders with a multidisciplinary and international perspective.

From the Undergraduate to the Masters and PhD programmes

  • The Undergraduate Programme is a three-year course of study in which the third year is spent abroad.
  • In the two-year Masters programme one semester is spent outside Sciences Po. The Sciences Po Masters programme offers several majors, each corresponding to a different career, for which graduates are particularly well prepared.
  • The PhD programme offers doctorates in five fields: Law, Economics, History, Political Science and Sociology.

International perspective

Sciences Po is a highly competitive international university. Science Po’s international focus is reflected in its worldwide network of 350 partner universities, its student body with 42% international students from 50 countries, its faculty with 20% international professors and lecturers,  its curriculum focused on comparative studies, its requirement that students take two foreign languages (17 languages to choose from) and its classes taught in six different languages.

Sciences Po Entrepreneurs

In 2008, Sciences Po introduced an innovative programme comprising courses and seminars focused on entrepreneurship and business plan development and a business incubator within Sciences Po.
