In a high-level speech, Senator Chris Murphy discusses the future of U.S.-Europe relations. Senator Murphy outlines his strategic vision for transatlantic cooperation in an era of geopolitical uncertainty. He explores the evolving security landscape: from continued support for Ukraine and deterrence against Russian aggression, to the role of the transatlantic alliance's role in addressing crises in the Middle East, and counterterrorism. Senator Murphy also highlights the urgent need for coordinated U.S.-EU action on emerging technologies, particularly the regulation of artificial intelligence, to safeguard democratic values and global stability.
