Scholarships to study at SciencesPo
Boutmy Scholarship
Sciences Po created the Émile Boutmy scholarship, named after the founder of Sciences Po (1871) in order to welcome the very best international students from outside the European Union.
The Émile Boutmy scholarship fund benefits from the generous support of its sponsors (benefactors, companies, and foundations) who are eager to allow the most deserving international students to study at Sciences Po. Private sponsors can be in direct contact with scholarship holders during official organised events. See the page
Eiffel Scholarship
The Eiffel scholarship programme, launched in January 1999 by the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, is aimed at foreign students whose outstanding ability has been recognised by French institutions of higher education who wish to sponsor these students for the rest of their studies.
The programme is primarily designed to provide an education in France to future decision makers in both the private sector and in the national administrations of emerging countries. See the page

Full Scholarship – TADS LLM, Sciences Po Law School
The Women Practitioners in Arbitration from the Middle East grant is a full-tuition scholarship established to promote greater diversity and regional representation within the field of international arbitration.
Awarded annually, the scholarship supports one outstanding woman practitioner with a strong connection to the Middle East who is admitted to the LLM in Transnational Arbitration and Dispute Settlement (TADS) at Sciences Po Law School.
International arbitration benefits from a plurality of legal traditions, professional trajectories, and lived experiences. This scholarship seeks to contribute meaningfully to that objective by reducing financial barriers for talented women practitioners from the Middle East and by accelerating their access to a global professional and academic network.
The Award
- Type: Full tuition scholarship (tuition-fee waiver)
- Value: €26,000
- Duration: One academic year
- Recipients: One scholar per year, selected from the admitted TADS LLM cohort
Eligibility
The scholarship is open to women candidates admitted to the TADS LLM who demonstrate a personal, academic, or professional connection to the Middle East, broadly defined. Candidates may be nationals of, residents in, or professionally engaged with the region, including members of the diaspora.
Recipients are selected following admission for study on the TADS LLM Degree.
In addition to tuition support, scholars may be featured in dedicated communications and invited to participate in targeted academic or mentorship programming.

Scholarships and Grants for SciencesPo students
Erasmus + Scholarship for SciencesPo PhD candidates
Erasmus+ scholarships specifically for doctoral students are available for countries in the MENA region. Mobility must take place by July 2026 at one of the universities listed below.
- Egypt: American University of Cairo, Cairo University (IDAI or FESP), Senghor University
- Jordan: University of Jordan, Yarmouk University
- Morocco: UM6P, Al Akhawayn
- UAE: Sorbonne Abu Dhabi
- Qatar: Doha Institute
These field scholarships can cover periods ranging from 2 to 10 weeks. Students must be in contact with a researcher from the partner universities who can supervise them.

Foundation Al Qasimi Doctoral Research Grants
The Al Qasimi Foundation's Doctoral Research Grants encourage scholars from a wide range of disciplines and professional fields to undertake research toward informing policymaking in the United Arab Emirates.
Doctoral Research Grants financially support PhD candidates in the research phase of their dissertations. Each year for applied research projects that include Ras Al Khaimah or the UAE as at least one part of the research. The Grant covers all student expenses associated with their field research in the United Arab Emirates, including return airfares, furnished accommodation for up to 12 months, a stipend to cover living costs, and research support. Recipients are expected to produce one to two policy papers as part of the Grant and record a podcast or make at least one presentation to the local research community.
