As part of the recruitment process for the position of Full Professor (Professeur / Professeure des universités) in History of Art "Political History of Art in the Modern Era (19th - 21st centuries)", the Sciences Po Centre for History is organising a series of presentations by shortlisted candidates.

The presentations will take place on Monday 15 June 2026 in room J208, 13, rue de l'Université, Paris 7, and are open to the Sciences Po community.

Job Talks Schedule

2.00 pm – 3.00 pm : Jérôme BAZIN - L'art de croiser les lignes parallèles. Histoire de l'art et histoire sociale en Europe au XXe siècle.

3.00 pm – 4.00 pm : Sophie CRAS - Exposer le capitalisme, XIXe-XXIe siècles.

Each candidate will give a 30-minute presentation, in English or French, on a research project related to the position. Each presentation will be followed by a 20-minute question-and-answer session.
