Maurice Fitzpatrick

A recipient of a European Marie Curie Fellowship, Maurice Fitzpatrick completed his fellowship on John Hume under the supervision of Mario Del Pero. He is continuing his research on John Hume’s political engagement with Europe.

Maurice Fitzpatrick has made two documentaries for the BBC: The Boys of St. Columb's and Translations Revisited. In 2017, he wrote and directed a feature-length documentary John Hume in America about the political life of Nobel Peace Prize laureate John Hume, which has been screened in over thirty countries.
