Johanna Gautier Morin

Johanna Gautier-Morin is a historian of capitalism and economic knowledge, examining how practices of measurement, moments of crisis, and ecological transformations reshape political authority, social hierarchies, and gendered regimes of value. Currently based in Vienna, she collaborates with the Open Society Hub for the Politics of the Anthropocene (OHPA) at the Central European University, where she explores the history of carbon markets, decarbonization and the petrostate. Her broader research examines the critical history of international economic indicators in collaboration with the Center for the Sociology of Organizations (CSO) at Sciences Po Paris.
