Samuel Hayat

Samuel Hayat is a CNRS-affliated Research Fellow at CEVIPOF-Sciences po. He works mainly on political representation and on 19th-century revolutionary and working-class movements, at the crossroads of the history of ideas, historical sociology and political theory.

In 2020 he was a visiting researcher at the Maison Française d'Oxford, and published two books (Démocratie and Introduction à la sociohistoire des idées politiques, with Julien Weisbein) and edited a third one (La représentation avant le gouvernement représentatif with Corinne Péneau and Yves Sintomer)."
