Sciences Po is calling for outstanding applications for visiting faculty from around the world

Every year, around a hundred researchers and professors from around the world come to conduct their research and teach at Sciences Po. During their stay, they are fully integrated into our university’s research activities.
A diverse array of calls for applications are open to faculty from all disciplines and all continents. Some calls are only open to professors from partner universities or pre-identified regions of the world.

In the 2026-2027 academic year, Sciences Po will open 12 visiting faculty positions in the social sciences or humanities, for a semester-long or a full academic year :

  • September 8 (incoming) - 5th LIEPP International Scholars in Policy Evaluation Programme
     
  • November 7th, 2025 - Global Visiting Faculty Program 
    Open to outstanding candidates from all disciplines and all continents, to spend one semester at Sciences Po.

  • November 7th, 2025 - Sciences Po Paris Visiting Fellowship
    Open to outstanding candidates from all disciplines currently affiliated to American universities, to spend one semester at Sciences Po.

  • November 7th, 2025 - Visiting Faculty Programme in collaboration with Université Paris Cité
    Open to professors from all over the world. Particular attention will be paid to applications related to environmental research and to applications related to gender research.

  • November 7th, 2025 - The Alfred Grosser Chair - Der Alfred-Grosser-Lehrstuhl rekrutiert zwei Gastprofessoren/Forscher in Paris und Nancy 
    Open to professors of social sciences currently affiliated to German universities.
