As part of its international academic partnerships, CEVIPOF is pleased to announce that two doctoral students have been selected for a doctoral exchange at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) starting in January 2026.

• Ciara LUXTON will spend the entire second semester conducting research at the LSE's Department of Government. She will be hosted by Professor Kai Spiekermann, a political philosopher and specialist in democratic theory. This stay will enable her to continue work on a scientific article selected for publication in a special issue of the Journal of International Political Theory, as part of the Global Theory Forum, a network of young researchers associated with London universities. By joining the LSE's political theory section, Ciara will be joining a renowned centre of analytical tradition, recognised for its work in political ethics and global justice.
• Gabrielle Jourde will be welcomed to the LSE's Department of Gender Studies, the largest gender studies department in Europe. She will spend three months there conducting doctoral research under the supervision of Professor Clare Hemmings, a specialist in contemporary feminist theory. This stay is a continuation of her doctoral work on contemporary autotheoretical practice, at the intersection of political theory, literature and gender studies.

These exchanges demonstrate the scientific dynamism of CEVIPOF doctoral students and the integration of their research into leading international academic networks.

The Sciences Po - LSE doctoral exchange programme supports the mobility of doctoral students in the social sciences, offering them not only academic support and access to the resources of the host institution, but also financial support of €2,500 to contribute to their living expenses.
