Violence, war and peace

Contemporary forms of political violence, conflict dynamics and post-war processes are the main focus in this research theme. It examines the trajectories of armed actors, the logic of repression or resistance, and mechanisms for pacification, justice and remembrance. The research is undertaken within comparative and empirical approach, using a variety of methods in areas often marked by instability or post-conflict violence.
