International order, foreign policy, diplomacy

Transformations in the international order, the rationales behind state action, and contemporary forms of diplomacy are explored under this theme. There is, in particular, a focus on the reconfiguration of power and global governance, multilateral negotiations, asymmetrical relations, and issues of sovereignty. Research draws on a variety of theoretical and methodological approaches, combining analyses of practices, field surveys, archives, and international data.
