Migrations, diasporas, borders, cities and territories

This research theme focuses on forms of government, the dynamics of political regimes and collective mobilisation (voting, activism, etc.), whether it be protest or revolutionary or counter-revolutionary activities. It explores power relations and processes of legitimisation, domination and contestation at different levels. Research in this theme adopts comparative and interdisciplinary approaches, combining qualitative and quantitative methods, in varied and often rapidly changing fields.
