International Relations and Global Policy

About

(crédits : CERI)

The aim of this seminar is to promote cross-disciplinary collaboration and foster a sense of teamwork while respecting the differences between its members.

The goal is to facilitate regular, formal meetings and exchanges between internationalists at CERI according to a fixed annual schedule.

The seminar has the following objectives:

  • to enable all the driving forces behind IR at Sciences Po to meet regularly to discuss projects, research issues, scientific controversies and disciplinary challenges;
  • to develop a collective identity in IR for CERI;
  • to promote the work of CERI members in IR, both internally and externally;
  • to provide a home for visiting IR lecturers and researchers;
  • to encourage collaboration between colleagues on topics of common interest;
  • involve doctoral students more closely in the scientific life of CERI to help strengthen the shared nature of their training;

Familiarise doctoral and postdoctoral students with the demands of international research by putting them in direct contact with leading colleagues in their fields of specialisation.

Encourage the development of collaborative research projects supported by external funding.
