CERI Global IR Seminar

The CERI Global IR Seminar brings together faculty members at CERI, including visiting and associate scholars, doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and colleagues from institutions in France and abroad to engage with the major questions shaping contemporary international relations (IR).
Rooted in CERI’s interdisciplinary tradition, the seminar promotes an open, pluralist, and decentered approach to the study of IR. It explores the diversity of actors, spaces, knowledge systems, and experiences that shape global affairs, while fostering dialogue across disciplinary traditions and geographical perspectives.
As a forum for scholarly exchange, the CERI Global IR Seminar seeks to strengthen the community of international relations scholars at CERI and beyond, while contributing to the visibility and development of interdisciplinary research in IR within global academic networks.
Join us! The seminar is currently coordinated by Stéphanie Balme and Mathias Delori. We welcome all colleagues interested in contributing to the discussions and reflections of Global IR to join us.
