Anne de Tinguy is Professor emeritus, National Institute of Oriental Languages and Cultures (INALCO) and senior researcher, Sciences po-CERI (Center for international Research). Director, School of International Relations, INALCO (2011-2018) and academic director of the dual degree in international studies Sciences Po-MGIMO (2002-2018). Holds degrees from the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne, INALCO and Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences po) and a Ph.D. in political science from Sciences po Paris.

Former fellow (1989-1990) of the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale (IHEDN). Former research fellow with the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and former vice-president of French Association of Ukrainian Studies (2000-2017); member of the editorial boards of Anatoli – Territoires, Politique, Sociétés (CNRS Editions). She recently edited La Russie dans le monde (CNRS Editions, 2019) and is director of Regards sur l’Eurasie, Les Etudes du CERI, annual publication.
