This roundtable will address the challenges faced by the liberal order, both domestically and on the international scene—challenges accentuated by transformations in the U.S. political scene and their repercussions worldwide. Speakers will discuss systemic cultural and socioeconomic transformations in our societies that explain the rise of illiberal alternatives, their impact on the liberal international order, and the emerging transnational links between different illiberal actors threatening to put an end to liberalism's cultural hegemony.
