L’État investisseur européen : quand des acteurs publics jouent les investisseurs, Entretien avec Ulrike Lepont et Matthias Thiemann
Dans le sillage des crises financière, de la dette et sanitaire, les interventions publiques dans l'économie européenne ont pris une nouvelle ampleur, marquant un retour en force de l'État dans la vie économique qui va au-delà de l'État régulateur. Pourtant, ces interventions ne suivent pas non plus les anciennes interventions keynésiennes, mais s'inscrivent dans une logique particulière d'investissement qui associe les acteurs publics et privés. A travers le concept d'"État investisseur européen", Ulrike Lepont et Matthias Thiemann désignent la redéfinition du rôle de l'UE et de ses États membres dans l'économie en tant qu'"investisseurs", en référence aux fonds d'investissement privés que l'État cherche à la fois à imiter et à enrôler. Dans cette vidéo, ils présentent un numéro spécial de la revue Competition and Change, intitulé "The European Investor State in the Making", qu'ils ont codirigé.
