[Club 150] DC - What is France?
About this event
16 October 2024 from 18:00 until 20:30
The Sciences Po American Foundation will host the next Club 150 Conversation on Wednesday October 16th from 6:00-8:30pm, at the Maison Française at the Embassy of France in Washington (4101 Reservoir Rd NW).
We will hear from Nick Spicer (‘95), current Europe Editor for NPR, and a veteran journalist who has worked for numerous publications in a variety of locations across the world (including the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East). He will present his unique perspective working abroad for American media, including his time covering France’s opposition to the war in Iraq for NPR in 2001, and how he uses his past experiences to help NPR’s reporters discover and share new stories about France today.
RSVPs include drinks and light refreshments.
