2026 DC Sciences Po Transatlantic Forum
About this event
22 June 2026 from 18:00 until 21:00
The 2026 edition of the Sciences Po Transatlantic Forum in DC will be held on Monday June 22, 2026 at the French Embassy in DC (4101 Reservoir Road NW) at 6 PM.
The evening will present a conversation on defense and security, featuring two exciting panelists, General David H. Petraeus (United States Army general and former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency) and Professor Thierry Balzacq (Sciences Po's leading scholar in strategic studies), and will be moderated by Robert Geckle (Chairman and CEO of Airbus U.S. Space & Defense and Sciences Po exchange alumnus).
This year's gathering coincides with the findings of Sciences Po's exploratory committee co-chaired by Florence Parly (former Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans of France) recognizing both the urgency of the geopolitical moment for Sciences Po to contribute to shaping public debate. The committee also emphasized the importance of providing the analytical tools and strategic insights needed for informed decision-making in an increasingly uncertain world.
Tickets must be reserved in advance and include drinks and light refreshments:
- General Admission – $50
- 2026 Giving Circle Members – Complimentary (email tanya@usscpo.org for code)
PS: Remember to join one of the Sciences Po Alumni Giving Circles for 2026.
We look forward to seeing you there!
