On 7 December 2020, LEPI held its first webinar with Thomas Piketty and Katharina Pistor on Law and Inequality, where the speakers discussed their recent books Capital and Ideology (Harvard University Press, 2020) and The Code of Capital (Princeton University Press, 2019) respectively. The discussion was followed by a Q&A session with the participants.
The webinar revolved around three themes: (i) Code and Ideology, (ii) the State, and (iii) the Market.
