Christos Zois, doctoral student at the Law School Research Centre, hosted at LSE Law School as part of a doctoral exchange programme

Christos Zois, PhD student at the Law School Research Centre, welcomed to LSE Law School as part of a doctoral exchange programme

The School of Research is pleased to announce that Christos Zois, a doctoral student at the Sciences Po Law School Research Centre, will spend the next semester at the LSE Law School as part of the Sciences Po - LSE doctoral exchange programme.

His doctoral research, supervised by Alain Pottage, focuses on international climate change law, with a particular emphasis on narratives of futurity and how these shape the legal understanding of the rights of future generations.

Hosted at LSE Law School by Professor Stephen Humphreys, a renowned specialist in international law and climate justice, Christos Zois will use this opportunity to further his research on the interactions between temporality, responsibility and global climate governance.

« I am excited to spend the next semester at the LSE Law School as a Global Opportunities Exchange PhD Researcher. I am immensely grateful to the École de la recherche de Sciences Po for the opportunity to be part of the exchange and Professor Stephen Humphreys for agreeing to act as my supervisor for its duration. I look forward to using this time to further my research on the narratives of futurity in international climate change law as seen through the lens of the rights of future generations. »
