This conference will feature two Oxford-style debate panels held under the Chatham House Rule*, offering an in-depth exploration of how current geopolitical tensions shape the role and decision-making of international arbitrators.
First panel: “Given the current geopolitical situation, arbitrators must take into account enforcement risks when adjudicating a dispute.”
Second panel: “Given the current geopolitical situation, arbitrators must consider granting relief different from damages to render their decisions more effective.”
