Organized by
Sciences Po Law School
Following a request from PhD students, a series of talks entitled ‘The Book that changed my Life as a Jurist’ will be launched on 9 June 2026.
This series is designed to provide a very informal setting, on the second Tuesday of every month for an hour at lunchtime, for members of the Law School’s Research Centre to present the book (or, more broadly, a book, a text, or even, more broadly still, a movie, a song, or event) that marked a decisive stage in their development as the legal professionals they have become.
At the inaugural session, Guillaume Tusseau will discuss Alf Ross’s Towards a realistic jurisprudence : a criticism of the dualism in law (E. Munksgaard, 1946). The book is available at the Sciences Po library.
Venue: Room 410T (Sciences Po, 13 rue de l'Université, Paris 7ème).
By invitation only.
