Biography

John Sabet conducts research at the crossroads of development, sustainability and international economic law, with a focus on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). His research is supervised by Professor Jeremy Perelman.

He holds a Masters in Business Law from Sorbonne University and a Masters in International Economic Law (cum laude) from Sciences Po, during which he also studied at Fudan University. He is a Member of the Paris Bar and has acquired professional experience in law firms, in the field international arbitration in particular, as well as in investment funds.

As a researcher, John has worked for institutions such as Harvard University, the London School of Economics and the International Trade Centre. At Sciences Po, he has worked as a Teaching Assistant for courses on International Investment Law, Human Rights, Public International Law, European Law, Political Philosophy of Law, and Sustainable Businesses & Policies.
