Biography
Marta Prata Domingos is a Portuguese Ph.D. Candidate at Sciences Po and at Universidade Católica Portuguesa – Porto. Her research focuses on the erratic and highly frequent transnational movement of workers across the European Union and on how the European Union legal infrastructure accommodates their needs and regulates their legal spheres. Marta pays particular attention to aspects related to European Labour Law, including Social Security Law and collective bargaining.
Marta is jointly supervised by Professor Sofia Oliveira Pais (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) and by Professor Loïc Azoulai (Sciences Po Law School).
She holds a Master’s degree in Law with specialisation in Labour Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa – Porto. Marta was an exchange student at the University of Groningen, Netherlands and has completed an Executive Postgraduate programme in Social Security from KU Leuven, Belgium.
She has previously worked as a hired researcher at the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law and as an Editor Assistant for the indexed journal Market and Competition Law Review.
