Glaser, Sarah Marthe

PhD Candidate, Researcher

Sarah Glaser is a PhD candidate at Sciences Po Law School under the supervision of Professor Azoulai. Her research deals with the interaction between the market and scientific innovation in the biomedical field. This work stands at the crossroads of Civil law, EU law, Corporate law and hard sciences.

Sarah has completed Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon as a French civil servant. Previously, she undertook research in Contemporary History at the Humboldt Universität in Berlin as well as in "Law and Literature" under the supervision of Professor Xifaras ("Contracting with the "Devil" - the study of a civil law scandal").

Sarah's legal background consists of having completed her Masters in Economic Law at Sciences Po with a specialization in corporate litigation. She also holds a Master degree in EU law from Université Panthéon Assas.

Sarah interned for Judge Safjan at the European Court of Justice. She is an active member of the “we are competition” initiative on anti-trust law and in charge of “Science and Law” at the Sciences Po Law Review.

Spécialités / Fields of Expertise

In theory - her main interest in research lies in the legal divide between goods and persons which explains her focus on Civil Law and EU Market Law. In practice - she wishes to operate in litigation.
