Biography

Coline Giard Rammeloo wrote her master's thesis on the contemporary New Age movement, conducting interviews with followers to understand their paths to membership and their epistemological principles.
In her thesis, she is now examining the relationship between the state, medicine, and alternative and complementary therapies in a country where these practices are developing without official recognition. Based on field research ranging from state actors to practitioners, including professional medical and alternative organizations, the research aims to shed light on the reciprocal relationships between these activities and the mechanisms that govern them. She continues her interest in the role of adherence mechanisms in these processes, which she began in her thesis
