Four thesis defenses this month
This November, four doctoral students defended their theses in sociology:
- Suzanne Quintin
- Her thesis is entitled: In search of respectability. A comparative ethnography of the work of low-level municipal staff, supervised by Bleuwenn Lechaux (University of Rennes 2) and Emilie Biland-Curinier (CSO).
- Lus Prauthois
- Her thesis is entitled: Two dads or two moms. The ambivalent recognition of same-sex parenting by the French justice system between 2013 and 2021, supervised by Céline Bessière (Paris-Dauphine University/IRISSO) and Émilie Biland-Curinier (CSO).
- Irène Ondarçuhu
- Her thesis is entitled: Writing a Cifre thesis in the humanities and social sciences: the socialization of doctoral students at stake, co-supervised by Christine Musselin (CSO) and Françoise Thibault, doctor and researcher in information and communication sciences.
- Chloé Socha
- The title of her thesis is: LGBT+ inclusion in the workplace: defining and appropriating the professional regime of sexuality and gender
- under the supervision of Emilie Biland-Curinier.
The CSO congratulates these four fellow sociologists on their excellent thesis.
