Emmanuel Lazega, the new scientific integrity officer

Luis Vassy, Director of Sciences Po, has appointed Emmanuel Lazega, Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the Center for the Sociology of Organizations (CSO), to the position of Sciences Po’s Scientific Integrity Officer, effective April 1, 2026.

The Scientific Integrity Officer plays a key role in promoting best research practices and supporting the academic community on issues of ethics and integrity. He works closely with the Research Ethics Committee, of which he is a member, the Data Protection Office, the various advisors (Ethics Officer, Gender-Based and Sexual Violence (VSS), Anti-Discrimination (LCD), Secularism), the HR Department, and the Legal Services.
