Biography
Jianli Prone holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the School of Research at Sciences Po and is currently pursuing a PhD at the Centre de Sociologie des Organisations (CSO), under the joint supervision of Léonie Hénaut and Magda Boutros. Her dissertation explores the promotion of the “human dimension” in policing, examining how the injunction to care for oneself, colleagues, and service users reshapes professional, emotional, and ethical regimes of police work, and the concrete implications this has for practices and organizational arrangements. Drawing on mixed methods, her work bridges the sociology of work, professions, and policing.
