Biography

Stéphane Lavoipierre holds a master's degree in sociology from Sciences Po's School of Research and has been a doctoral student at the Center for the Sociology of Organizations (CSO) since September 2021. His thesis, supervised by Daniel Benamouzig and Patrick Hassenteufel, focuses on the policy of extending health coverage through the case of dental care. His work falls within the field of sociology of public policy and health, examining how healthcare systems are constructed and transformed. A graduate of the agrégation in economics and social sciences (2020, rank: 16th), he has also been an assistant professor in quantitative sociology at the University of Versailles–Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ) since September 2024.
